Cleaning utensils including mops, broom, and vacuum cleaner are in the main hall closet, and cleaning solutions are in one of the doors above the wall ovens. The wood floor should be damp mopped only, using only water or with a little soap mixed in.

It is important to keep the drains free of clogs. Nothing except water and liquids should go down any of the drains. And please check every few days to clear hair and other stuff from the shower drain: just lift up the rear panel, and the little white basket lifts up for cleaning. Please, no chemicals for clearing the drains because they damage the pipes. If you have a clog, please call a plumber to clear it out.

(By the way, if the apartment has been vacant a long time before you arrive, there is sometimes a stinky odor coming from the pipes. I’m not sure I know why, but I am told it is normal. Just run some water down the drain for a couple of minutes and it will go away.)

You are free to use the air purifier if you want. There should be a new sealed filter in the hall storage closet. If you use the new filter, please replace it with a new filter when you leave.
