When you move in, you will be provided with set(s) of keys that include a front door key, an apartment key, and a mailbox key. Additional keys can be made at your expense. If you need more keys, please contact me. When you move out, you will need to give me all the keys you have, including new keys you have had made.
The building association asks that you not prop the building doors open for the safety of the residents.
To make sure deliveries and visitors can find you, you should tape your family name(s) on the front door entry panel and the mailbox. The button on the front door is labeled “Kennedy” on the right, fourth down (currently underneath “Perschon”). If you want to tape your name on the front door bell panel or the mailbox in the hall, please make sure Kennedy is still visible so that any mail to me will still be delivered.
Delivery people will give up very quickly if you don’t answer the doorbell when they come. They normally find someone else in the building to leave the package with. This frequently falls on Benyamin and his family on the first floor (the door in the same relative position as yours).
You might also specify deliveries to go to any of several “locker” locations with merchants nearby. That way the package will be waiting for you in the store and you can pick it up during stores hours.
